Futuristic house is designed for people

The approx. The 12,000 m² former technical school, at Kejlstrupvej 87 in Silkeborg, has been transformed into a futuristic house with room for everyone with an interest in cars, padel and training. 

​

Lars Larsen Group stands as builder andLaban Architects has been at the forefront of the project as an architect and design manager the entire building and the complete transformation. MODUS has, in close collaboration with the architects, the work on the design of the furnitureand execution of custom-made furniture for the interior, includingreception desk, indoor and outdoor bars with kitchen, slide with built-in lounge furniture, flexible sales furniture, meeting room, partitions and high table in waiting area. Third Space has delivered furniture and furnishings for the rest of the house.

 

Overall, Laban Arkitekter has created a common thread through the interior design and ensured that every detail has recreated the house as a perfect space for Lars Larsen Group and leasing companySelected Car Group, the treatment and training instituteInstitute Thomey and Padel tennis atMatch Padel Silkeborg.

The rooms can carry the decor with the unique furniture created with warm colors and shades, which at the same time give both customers, guests and employees an exclusive feeling and a sense of importance.

The reception counter welcomes guests and greets them with the green marble, which tells them that the place takes them seriously and that the working environment is important. Regardless of whether it is customers who want to test the luxurious supercars or a board member on his way to a meeting.

 

The furniture in the lounge areas helps to create cozy spots in the interior that provide space for both reflection on top of a meeting or an informal chat on the sofa.

 

Special interior elements such as the specially designed slide that also functions as lounge furniture give the place an edge and make the guests feel special.

 

In meeting rooms and boardrooms, the furniture helps to create a story that gives pride and motivation to both employees, management and board members.
